Al Awar explores India's capabilities in electronics, information technology and smart applications during his visit to the Indian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, visited the Indian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, which is one of the largest pavilions at the exhibition.

His Excellency was accompanied on the visit by Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India in Dubai and Deputy Commissioner General for India at Expo 2020 Dubai, Dilip Shenoy, Secretary-General of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Chairman of FICCI-India Arab Council,

During the visit, Al Awar was briefed about the various economic, cultural, and artistic activities that express the civilization of Indian states with the various components, cultures, and traditions of Indian society.

The pavilion officials briefed his excellency about the promotional activities of the various Indian states and regions, especially in the fields of renewable energy, gas, space, and modern technology, and the vast investment opportunities in these regions.

Al Awar was also briefed on India's various capabilities in the fields of electronics, information technology, and smart applications, and India's experience in environmental protection and sustainability, in addition to achievements in higher education, human skills, and vocational training.

Through virtual electronic platforms, he witnessed the cultural and vital diversity of this thriving country with its remarkable innovative and creative capabilities, as well as the great history of cinema from its inception to the arrival of Bollywood on the world stage.
