MoHRE supports Virtual Labor Market with innovative features to facilitate employment
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has launched an innovative interactive package of features in the ‘Virtual Labor Market’ platform with the aim of developing the services provided by the platform and supporting the companies and workers registered in it for easy recruitment.
As an initiative of the national program to support the stability of the labor market, the Virtual Labor Market platform contributes to enhancing the flexibility of transfer and reducing operational burdens of the establishments that have surplus non-Emirati employees. This is achieved through registering the data of those employees on careers.mohre.gov.ae to support the labor market’s needs for internal employees in light of the suspended recruitment from outside the UAE as a result of the precautionary measures taken by the UAE to combat and prevent the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The new package of features enables companies to make remote job interviews via an innovative video program that also allows companies to enter notes and candidate’s assessment points instantly, thereby supporting physical distancing measures.
The new features also enable those interested in registering in the platform to download a 30-second video to highlight their strengths including their different job experiences, which will give them a bigger chance to be employed.
The new package of features make it possible for companies to communicate directly with those registered in the platform and the recruitment teams and to send messages to them without the need to use the company’s email. It also enables a new dashboard to be designed to display the details of the employment process and the performance of the companies’ recruitment teams. This enables employers and managers to get a complete picture of the recruitment process.
The new ‘Virtual Labor Market’ is an innovative platform for providing employment services to companies and non-Emirati workers in accordance with the artificial intelligence system, which facilitates the process of matching the requirements of the jobs announced by companies to the profiles of those registered in the platform.
