The MOHRE Strategy 2017-2021 has been developed based on the UAE Vision
2021 to achieve the government's strategic objectives, including, most
importantly, increasing efficiency, flexibility and productivity in the labour market,
and complying with international standards and agreements in the labour sector
regulation and workers
The
strategic plan aims to prepare and equip the UAE's labour market by
providing national skills for private sector employment, and build a comprehensive
system to protect workers' rights and safeguard employers' interests, and
provide excellent services to customers and achieve the UAE's position as one
of the best destinations to live and work in the world. Additionally, the plan
aims to preserve the security and stability in the country which embraces a
multicultural social fabric to make the UAE a safe haven for international
investment and business.
:Objective
This consultation aims to follow up on the developmental
opinions and proposals on the MOHRE strategic plan to manage and organise the
labour market in the country, safeguard the interests and rights of all
stakeholders, protect them and provide the best services to the stakeholders in
the labour market to support the competitiveness of the UAE.
:Expected Decisions of implementation
Innovative strategies that support the organisation of
the labour market in a way that achieves efficiency, protection and
flexibility, improves the participation of the national human resources and
attracts, develops and retains talent. This is done through an integrated
system of ambitious goals, policies, standards and control tools, institutional
partnership, excellent services, work systems and various channels that support
the competitiveness of the labour market in the country and the quality of life
of all members of society.
