His Excellency Dr Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and His Excellency FAIYAZ Koya, Minister of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport of the Republic of Fiji, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Manpower on the sidelines of the World Government Summit.

Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening the friendly relations between the UAE and the Republic of Fiji and developing an institutional partnership between the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Fijian Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations, leading to the balanced and effective management of the contractual work cycle of Fijian workers in the UAE, including the use of information technology, information exchange and studies in the field of manpower.
