His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, discussed with His Excellency Betty Ambi Ongom, Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development of the Republic of Uganda, ways to enhance cooperation and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in the field of labour.

During the meeting held recently at the Ministry's office in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar gave an overview of the new labour market legislation in the country and the policies and initiatives to attract and retain global expertise and talent.

On her part, the Ugandan Minister lauded the UAE's development in various fields and appreciated the country's labour market legislation and its role in upholding workers' rights. She expressed her desire for greater cooperation between the two countries in the coming period.
