The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship have announced the exemption of workers with expired work permits from carrying out the medical examination. Work permits and residences will be issued and renewed automatically for facilities workers and domestic workers, within the framework of precautionary measures taken by the UAE United Arab Emirates to address the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

Under the aforementioned precautionary procedure, the concerned labor will not need to visit medical examination centers nationwide, which will be closed temporarily, provided that the prescribed fee is paid through the approved payment channels, according to which the worker will continue his legitimate residence in the country.
