December 1-3 is a holiday for the private sector to mark Commemoration Day and the 50th National Day

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) announced that the period from Wednesday, December 1 to Friday,

December 3 will be a paid holiday for all employees in private sector establishments, institutions and companies in the country on the occasion of Commemoration ' Day and the UAE's 50th National Day, in implementation of the Cabinet Decision on Approved Official Holidays.
