HE said that winning the best smart government entity, and achieving the first place in international reports at the fifth edition of the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, comes as culmination of the Ministry’s efforts and its team spirit to work as one to ensure customer satisfaction, by providing distinguished services that are in line with smart government standards. The award also comes as part of the Ministry’s strategy to boost the UAE’s position in the international arena and contribute to the national efforts to achieve excellence on the global scale, in line with the UAE leadership’s directives.

Al Hameli stressed that while this award will motivate the Ministry, it also represents a challenge for it to double up its efforts to achieve the objectives of the government strategy as required.

HE congratulated Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs from the Ministry, on winning the Prime Minister’s Best Undersecretary Award; and Dr. Omar Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Communications and International Cooperation, on winning the best Assistant Undersecretary Award. Al Hameli thanked both officials for their contributions to the development of the Ministry’s operations.

He also congratulated Ahmed Mohammed Al Shehhi, MoHRE, on winning the Prime Minister’s Award in management, and all other winners. He also thanked organizers of Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award.

Al Suwaidi said that winning the best Undersecretary award is win for MoHrE, which works in a one team spirit under the guidance of HE Al Hameli. He also expressed his gratitude for winning the award.

Meanwhile, Dr. Al Nuaimi expressed his pride in winning the best Assistant Undersecretary award, and stressed his commitment to continue to work on ensuring the Ministry’s excellence, thus further enhance the country’s standing in the global arena.
