His Excellency Dr Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Manan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, discussed enhanced cooperation in the field of labour with Krishna Prasad, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, during a meeting at the Ministry's office in Abu Dhabi.

Al Awar stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Nepal in areas of common interest, especially in relation to the recruitment of Nepali workers.

For his part, the Nepalese Ambassador praised the measures and initiatives taken by the UAE government to address the negative impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. He praised the UAE's support to the Republic of Nepal and the MOHRE's efforts to protect the rights of Nepali workers.
