Under the patronage and presence of King Philippe, King of friendly Belgium and his wife, the Belgian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai held a "Dignified Work" ceremony, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and His Excellency Pierre-Yves Dermagne, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Labour of Belgium, and a number of officials.

The ceremony was held as part of the Belgian National Day, with the participation of Belgian labour unions and Belgian companies operating in the country.

The Belgium Pavilion, which is located in the mobility area of ​​Expo 2020 Dubai, embodies its technical progress and innovative capabilities. The 'Green Arch' exhibits Belgian industrial, technological and scientific know-how, reflecting 'belgitude', a mix between Latin romanticism in art and Anglo-Saxon technical precision in industry.
