Objective and subject:
The UAE Government focuses on developing
government operations, adopting proactive solutions, and creating a new
generation of government services by proactively developing and launching them
before demand occurs, based on an in-depth understanding of customers' needs
and aspirations. The self-assessment system was launched on 1 February 2022 as
an innovative and easy-to-use tool, accessible at service centres or through a
smart application, that allows for measuring establishments' compliance with laws
and requirements for obtaining and renewing establishment permits, as well as
completing other services related to work permits for workers. It is used by
establishments to create a self-assessment report using MoHRE's approved
channels to obtain their electronic share, or update date. This, in turn, enhances
speed of completion and increases the reliability of relations with the
Ministry, in addition to streamlining inspection processes for teams to deal
with non-compliant facilities.
Accordingly,
the Ministry invites innovative observations and suggestions from customers, which
will then be used to upgrade the system.
