Description:
Federal Law No. 33 of 2021 regarding the
regulation of labourrelations is the largest update in the law regulating labourrelations
in the Emirates, in preparation for the second fifty-year stage of the life of
the UAE. This law is part of the future laws and legislation that seek to
respond to this stage in the history of the state and is in line with the
changes taking place in the world of employment, and the international
commitments that the UAE has agreed to.
The Ministry of Human Resources and
Emiratisation has worked to develop training awareness programs for all
segments of society, including customers, to introduce the content of the
provisions of the law and the improvement of the competencies that would keep pace
with current and future developments, which would enhance the speed of response
to labourmarket changes. The additional benefits provided by the new law are
also clarified, as the awareness programs focus on highlighting the amendments
to the law, which enhances ease of business and the flexibility of the labourmarket,
creating new types of work, allowing employers to meet their labourneeds and
benefit from their energies and productivity at the lowest operational costs. The
awareness programs also address the rights of the workers and the work
providers and address the issue of the worker's movement during the trial
period. The customer and any member of the
community, upon entering the ministry's website, can go directly through the
link to the awareness and rehabilitation programs of the new labourlaw with
ease and simplicity.
Goal:
The objective of this advice is to monitor the views and observations of
the respondents about the awareness programs that are implemented for customers
and employers of the new labourlaw (Federal Law No. 33 of 2021 regarding the
regulation of labourrelations), such as workshops, brochures, videos ... etc.
