The National field training Program and summer work "Wajehni".


The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) launched the National Internship & Summer Job Program "Wajehni", in the presence of H.E. Nasser Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and H.E. Jameela Bint Salem Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education, in July 2018. This program comes as part of the "Tawteen 360" initiative, being one of the initiatives implemented by the Ministry in partnership with the Ministry of Education and universities to raise awareness of youth, students, residents and citizens of the importance of work in the private sector, to highlight the benefits and professional guidance provided to them, and enable them to reach their employment in this sector through easy and speedy steps, via the smart application "Wajehni" developed by the MOHRE and which can be downloaded via Google Play or App Store.


:Objectives

Informing students and benefit from the internship and summer job opportunities offered by the private sector

Applying for the training opportunities directly in line with the students' specializations and suitable places for training

Bridging the gap between academic experience and labour market requirements in the private sector

Supporting companies' efforts to integrate opportunities, reach young national talents, and build their future networks to contribute in achieving long-term Emiratisation goals through partnerships and collaboration


:Decisions Expected by Implementation


Students' satisfaction level with the program will be measured in order to obtain feedback and suggestions to enable students to build their abilities and skills in line with the needs of the labour market, the requirements of its future jobs, and to get benefits from the experiences and knowledge of the working environment in various vital economic sectors

Contributing to achieve long-term goals of Emiratisation through partnerships and collaboration with the private sector
